Walking back to meet yourself....
Now more than ever people are feeling a strong desire to return to the natural world for the answers they seek. Many sense a need within themselves to reconnect with the land to which they belong. A deep knowing that there is more to life than what is currently being offered. Most of us long to press pause on the external noise, excess, exhaustion and busyness of modern day living, to return to a much simpler way of life. One that allows us to live more in alignment with the seasons, cycles and teachings of the natural world. One that helps us to slow down, recharge and eventually get still enough to hear the whispers of our own Soul.
For it is only within this profound stillness, that nature’s intelligence emerges as a mirror, and reawakens our inner truth. From this grounded place of ‘knowing’ we feel equipped to redirect our lives with more clarity and vision, trusting the path that is unfolding ahead of us. This journey of inner and outer alignment is indeed an initiation for the Soul.
The Path of the Soul Retreat offers the opportunity for 8 soul-seekers to gather in community in Gloucestershire, UK. Spending 4 days and 3 nights completely outside and immersed in nature. Both in solitude and in community. Leaving behind all gadgets and time keeping, surrendering to the medicine of the natural world. During the retreat you will walk barefoot, participating in daily personal rituals, whilst communing with the trees. Fasting will be an important part of the awakening process, with your evenings spent sharing by the fire with others, and then nights of sleeping under the stars.
This retreat offers a deep and mystical journey of peeling back the layers and blocks to Love that still hold us back from accessing and living our Soul’s true purpose.
Before….
Your retreat experience will begin long before you arrive onsite as we will gather online 1 month before, to connect and prepare for our time together. You will be asked to complete a ‘Soul’s questionnaire’ to allow you to contemplate and reflect upon what it is that your heart and Soul truly longs for, and what remains in the way of you living from this true place. You will be asked to prepare for the retreat experience in the weeks prior, by reducing time spent on gadgets, limiting and then cutting out sugar, alcohol, red meat and caffeine. Plus, spending extended periods fasting once a week so your body is ready for the 48 hour fasting detox and awakening experience on the retreat.
During….
· Morning group sessions of chanting and visualisations by the fire.
· Daily solo walking rituals in nature to continue to clear any remaining blocks to Love that are still holding you back.
· Breath work and movement, dancing and communing with the trees, tapping into their elder wisdom and connecting you deeply to your heart energy.
· Fasting to allow your body to detoxify, repair and heal, your heart to open, and your intuitive mind to gain clarity, stillness and vision.
· Evening sessions around the fire to connect, share, sing, chant, laugh and be guided by your hosts.
· Star gazing, meditations and hammock time doing absolutely nothing. Simply being.
· Daily spiritual practices that allow you to hear and be guided by the voice of your own Soul.
· Connection to your Ancestors and to the ‘otherness’ of life, in whichever way this is meaningful and true for you.
After…
Approximately 2 weeks after the retreat there will be an online gathering for integration, plus a ‘Soul resources pack’ of the rituals and practices that can be simply incorporated into your everyday life to sustain you, as you step forward into living and loving along the path of the Soul.
